Bai Tian Gong (拜天公)

Normally on the nineth day of Chinese New Year....
All the Hokkien people would hold a ritual prayer at late night...
The praying start from 12am of the eighth day of Chinese New Year...
They will prepare a lot of foods to offer to the Jade Emperor..

My house also hold this ritual praying....
We prepared lots of foods and fruits...

Variety of fruits ...

Roasted chicken, roasted pork & roasted duck...

Mee Sua...

Cakes.... My mum will made this every year....

Ang Ku Kueh...

Nian Gao....

"Red eggs"...

Besides than this, we prepared some cookies as well....
During praying, we burnt incences and light the firework....
The praying normally ended at about 2am...
This is a very meaningful ritual praying for my family.
