3rd day in Bangkok –Pattaya

Our tour guide brought us to Menam Chao Phraya River Cruise. We woke up very early at 6:30am, had our breakfast and depart to jetty at 7:30am.

From jetty, we could see the Millennium Hilton Hotel, the outlook of the hotel it’s exactly same like the Hilton Hotel in Malaysia.

Along the Menam Chao Phraya, it’s the Wat Arun, Grand Palace, Royal Badge National Museum, Shiraj Hospital (famous of Transsexual operation), Small Bangkok @ Bangkok Noi and Water Village.

There was people selling souvenir using a small boat, they rowed near to ours ferry and selling the souvenir. However, I didn’t buy cause the price was expensive.

Garland- for praying.

View of Wat Arun on boat.

We stopped at Wat Arun. This temple also known as Temple of Dawn. What so special about the temple is the design, the picture on the wall is symmetry and the paint color is harmony. I didn’t climb the temple due to the time it’s limited.
We were very lucky cause they having a monk ceremony that morning and we got a chance to see the process. There were some souvenir shop, the price is cheap but not much variety.

Later, we had our lunch at the world longest restaurant, recognized by the Guinea World Record, where the waiter here needed to use roller skate to send the meal. We were served with Chinese Cuisine AGAIN, luckily this time they prepared TomYam Soup for us. However this Tom Yam Soup’s not so tasty and spicy as what I had during Phuket Trip.

After lunch, we were brought to an Herb Shop. The herb medicine-selling price it’s RM 170 and above. It’s kind of expensive.

Next, we went to the Siracha Tiger Zoo.

I got a chance to watch the pig racing and pig doing mathematic. This pig's name is Barbecue, it's good in calculating.

Little piggie live with mummy tiger.

You can see a very harmony family here where the tiger live with pig and dog in the same cage.

I got a shock during this visit, this is the first time I got a chance to watch the real man show: human put their head into the crocodile’s mouth.

We stopped by at a bee farm. Here you have the chance hold the beehive and taste the honey, royal jelly and pollen. The person in-charge quite talkative and humor.

After the bee farm visit, finally we reached our resort at Pattaya – Mind Resort. It’s about 5 minutes drive from the famous tourist center. The resort is new and clean. It’s really a nice and peaceful resort.

Our room’s balcony is facing swimming pool. You can enjoy Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam bath at here.

At night, we had dinner at a restaurant; the foods are so so only. After dinner, we have a walk at the Walking Street, the most famous street in Thailand.

There are lots of gogo bars, live music bars, restaurants, nightclubs, souvenir shops and street entertainers along the street. During happy hours, u can get a draft beer for 45 bahts only. Some bars provide dancer for entertainment. They wear bikini only and will dance from one table to another table. Here u can easily move from a street to another street, they had many truck or what they call taxi to fetch the passenger.

I tried a home-made gelato, taste good, not so sweet, but it’s a bit expensive, 120 bahts.

We had our supper at fastfood reataurant inside Royal Garden Plaza.

We bought cake from Mc Cafe which can not be found in Malaysia.

We ordered a set of spicy chicken with green chilli powder. The chicken was too spicy until my friend speechless.
One of the friend’s joke: “Is Tom Yam Spicy?”… “ No, it’s KFC”

After supper, we backed to our resort.
