1st day in Bangkok, Thailand

We reached Bangkok at 12:40pm the local time. The traffic at the city was congested. By the time we reached our hotel, it’s already 2:45pm.

Everyone was damn hungry; we not dare to take the street food, so we decided to take our lunch at nearest shopping mall – Platinum. I ordered noodle with wanton and shrimp, its look not so attractive, however the taste is good. I also tried a banana choc wafer, which is delicious and its only 35 baht. My boyfriend ordered a set of Japanese food and it’s really worth, only cost 65 baht.

After lunch, we walked around in the mall. There were many shop lots there, exactly like the Sg Wang Plaza in Malaysia. The difference was the prices are cheaper. I was not in the mood to shop, so only able to get a pair of sandal that cost 199 Baht. We walked to the famous shopping mall- MBK, its took about 30minutes to reach there. MBK is big, the bridge linked to the mall is brilliant. The price of the goods is reasonable. Bangkok having a grand sale from June till Aug.

We had our dinner in Thai Siam Restaurant. The foods are cheap but the portion is small and not so tasty.

We went to Suan Lam Night Market after dinner. There were variety of souvenirs, wallets, t-shirt and etc. You can get a very good price if you are good in bargain.

My first day in Bangkok ended after the night market walk.
